Use this method if you want to wipe all custom bass, treble, and fader settings to start fresh. Press the or SOUND button on the unit. Navigate through the options using the Right Tuning Knob . Look for a sub-menu labeled INITIAL or RESET . Select YES or OK to confirm.
If it fails, turn off the car, lock the doors (to sleep the CAN bus), wait 10 minutes, and try again. The RCD 300 is stubborn, but it is rarely truly broken.
