However, it was their self-titled debut album, Azra (1980), that truly launched them into the stratosphere, becoming a massive commercial success across the country. The band continued their prolific output with a string of classic albums before recording their final studio work, Između krajnosti , in 1987. A sprawling live album, Zadovoljština , followed in 1988, after which Štulić disbanded the group and later moved to the Netherlands, living in seclusion. Even today, decades after their breakup, Azra remains exceptionally popular among young people in all the countries of the former Yugoslavia, a testament to their timeless appeal.
