Edgar Felix Herbert‑Caesari (7 May 1884 – December 1969) was one of the twentieth century’s most significant voice pedagogues. Born in England, he studied at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome under the legendary Riccardo Daviesi and later with the great Italian baritone Antonio Cotogni, who had been a colleague of Giuseppe Verdi.
